So you’ve decided to come to therapy. That’s awesome.
And maybe also a little terrifying. You might be thinking, “I’m supposed to tell a stranger all my stuff?!” Whether it’s your first time or not, starting therapy takes real courage. It means stepping into the unknown—and that’s no small thing.
You might be asking yourself:
Am I okay? Is this normal?
What’s going on with me?
How can I feel better? What does better even mean?
Can anyone actually help me?
What’s the point of any of this?
These kinds of questions often guide our early sessions. Exploring them together lays the groundwork for discovering your answers—because what matters most is different for everyone.
I practice from an existential (focused on creating personal meaning and authentic living) and relational lens, working with people experiencing anxiety, depression, lack of motivation, loss of meaning, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, and trauma. I offer a space where life’s complexities, pains, and paradoxes can be met with curiosity, compassion, honesty—and sometimes humor. Because therapy is as much about celebrating what’s good as it is about healing what hurts.
Together, we’ll explore what it means to live more meaningfully, build emotional resilience, and connect more fully with yourself, others, and the world around you.
